What the CAPM is
The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is an entry-level credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI), a professional body for project management based in the United States. It is meant for people at the start of a project career: team members, coordinators, graduates and people moving into project work from another job.
The CAPM shows that a person knows the vocabulary, concepts and basic methods of project management. It does not require years of experience as a project leader. That is the main difference from PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential, which asks for documented experience leading projects.
What this course does
This course follows PMI’s published CAPM Examination Content Outline. That document lists four domains and the tasks inside each one. Every task in the outline maps to a lesson here. You will learn each idea, see it used in a short example, and practise it with exam-style questions.
All practice questions in this course were written for this course. They are not real exam questions and are not "recalled" from anyone’s exam. They are written in a similar style, so you get used to reading situations and choosing the best answer.
This course does not promise a pass. Your result depends on your study, your practice and the exam itself.
