Why this subject matters
Every person at work has the same number of hours in a day. Some people still finish the important work, help their team grow and go home on time. Others are busy all day and still feel behind. The difference is rarely talent or effort. It is usually a small set of habits: choosing what matters, planning time for it, and sharing work with other people.
This course is for supervisors, team leaders, new managers and anyone who coordinates work done by others. It is also useful for specialists who have too much to do and want to control their week.
Three levers you can pull
Prioritisation means deciding what will be done first, what will be done later and what will not be done at all. Without this step, every request looks equally important and the loudest one wins.
How the levers work together
The three levers depend on each other. You cannot delegate well if you do not know your priorities, because you will not know which work to keep. You cannot plan well if you never delegate, because the plan will be full before the week starts. And you cannot protect time if you have not chosen what deserves it.
Example 1. Samira, a new shift supervisor in a warehouse, spends her mornings checking every delivery note herself. Her weekly safety walk keeps moving to "next week". When she decides that the safety walk is a priority, plans it every Tuesday at 10:00, and delegates delivery-note checks to an experienced storekeeper, all three levers work at once.
Example 2. Omar, an engineer, plans two quiet hours each morning for design work. But he has not agreed his priorities with his manager, so every new request still feels urgent and his quiet hours disappear. Planning alone did not work, because the choosing step was missing.
Omar plans quiet hours, but they keep disappearing. Which lever is missing?
