Training a team: how a training request works

Sometimes a team needs a trainer: a course taught in a classroom, at your site, or live online for your people. On iCompetent you ask for this with a training request.
1. Post the request
Go to Request a quote and follow the steps. You choose the course first, then where and when, how many people, and the language. You can add documents. You need an account to send the request.
2. Our team checks it
Every request is checked by our team before it goes on the training requests board. We email you when it is approved.
3. Providers send quotes
Approved freelance trainers, training companies and iCompetent itself can quote. You see each quote with its price, dates and place, but not who sent it: providers are shown as Provider A, Provider B, and so on. Contact details are removed from what both sides write, so nobody is pushed to deal outside the board.
4. You choose
When quoting closes, you have 14 days to choose. Once you choose a quote, you and that provider see each other's contact details, and you agree the rest, payment included, directly with them.
5. After the training
When the training is delivered, you rate the provider. Your rating is shown on that provider's later quotes, to help the next person choose.
