A simple idea
Customer discovery means learning about customers and their problems before you spend a lot of time and money building a product or service. You talk to people, watch what they do and run small tests. Then you use what you learn to decide what to build, or whether to build at all.
Validation means collecting evidence that an idea is true. For example, evidence that a problem is real, or that people will pay for a solution.

How the course is organised
Key words, writing your first assumptions and planning your work.
Why it matters
Most new products fail because not enough people want them in the form offered, at the price asked. Discovery does not guarantee success. It reduces waste. It helps you find out early, while changes are cheap, instead of late, when the money is spent.
