Programme

IWCF Well Control Exam Preparation, Levels 1 to 4

Independent preparation for the four levels of the International Well Control Forum (IWCF) well control programme, from awareness to supervisor. You learn how kicks start and are found, how a well is shut in, how a kill sheet is worked out, how the driller's method and the wait and weight method kill a well, how the blowout preventer (BOP) and the well control equipment work, and how a supervisor plans and runs a well control operation. The courses use the 3D well control simulations for practice. The program does not award an IWCF certificate: only IWCF, through its accredited centres, assesses and certifies.
