Ce que vous apprendrez
- Explain why PPE is the last line of defence in the hierarchy of controls.
- Identify the standard upstream PPE set and the task-specific additions a job may require.
- Select PPE against the hazard using recognised ratings (cut levels, SNR, assigned protection factors).
- Inspect PPE before use and recognise when an item must be condemned and replaced.
- Apply correct fit, care and storage practices, including respirator fit testing and the clean-shaven rule.
- Interpret and maintain a PPE matrix and the mandatory-PPE signage at a site entry.
