Gas Processing & Dehydration
How produced gas is conditioned for sale and transport — hydrate prevention, TEG dehydration, sweetening, dew point control and compression — for operations personnel and self-directed learners.
Les quatre niveaux
Chaque niveau s'appuie sur le précédent.
- 1Sensibilisation
- 2Connaissances
- 3Savoir-faire
- 4Maîtrise
Savoir-faire et Maîtrise se prouvent au travail, pas par un cours : un évaluateur de votre organisation vous valide sur corp.icompetent.com.

Ce que vous apprendrez
- Explain why produced gas must be conditioned before sale or transport, including hydrate, corrosion and sales-specification drivers
- Describe the conditions that cause hydrate formation and the main prevention methods: heating, chemical inhibition and dehydration
- Trace the TEG dehydration loop from contactor through regeneration and explain the role of each stage
- Recognise the purpose of amine sweetening units and the hazards of H2S and CO2 in sour gas
- Apply dew point control and compression fundamentals, including why interstage cooling and suction scrubbers matter
- Identify common gas-processing upsets — glycol foaming, carryover, off-spec gas — and respond appropriately
