What you'll learn
- Explain how injected lift gas lowers bottom hole pressure and increases drawdown
- Calculate static gradient, productivity index and gaslift valve setting depth
- Distinguish IPO, PPO, orifice and dummy valves and state where each is used
- Execute and validate a well test on a gaslifted well to procedure
- Interpret CHP, THP and lift gas rate trends to identify an under-performing well
- Unload a gaslifted well in controlled steps without damaging the valves
- Diagnose common gaslift faults and recommend an assigned, actionable remedy
- Model and optimise lift gas allocation at well and field level
