- Explain why the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) must never be exceeded and how surge is managed.
- Distinguish the main pig types and select the right pig for cleaning, gauging, batching or in-line inspection.
- Describe corrosion management basics: inhibitor injection, corrosion coupons and cathodic protection.
- Recognise the main leak detection approaches and their limitations.
