- Recognise site alarm types and take the correct immediate action for fire, gas and abandon signals.
- Apply muster discipline: designated routes, upwind movement, personnel accounting and never re-entering.
- Explain the fire triangle and match fire classes to the correct extinguishing medium.
- Judge when a fire may safely be fought and use an extinguisher with the PASS technique.
- Describe emergency roles, emergency shutdown (ESD) behaviour, and first-aid and AED locations.
- Support emergency drills and explain how timed, graded evaluation drives readiness.
