OSHA Hand and Power Tool Safety

Awareness training on the US OSHA rules for hand and portable power tools in general industry (29 CFR 1910 Subpart P) and construction (29 CFR 1926 Subpart I), for workers and supervisors who use them. It covers hand tool defects, utility knives, guards and switches, electric, pneumatic, powder-actuated, fuel and hydraulic tools, abrasive wheels, jacks, PPE and inspecting and tagging out damaged tools. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA, is NOT an OSHA Outreach (10-hour or 30-hour) course and issues no DOL or OSHA card, and your employer remains responsible for the site-specific and hands-on training the standards require.
