OSHA PPE and Lifesaving Equipment
Awareness training aligned with the US OSHA personal protective equipment rules in 29 CFR 1910 Subpart I and the construction rules for personal protective and life saving equipment in 29 CFR 1926 Subpart E, for workers and supervisors in general industry and construction, including those who work over or near water. It covers the hazard assessment, payment and training duties, eye, face, head, foot and hand protection, life jackets, ring buoys and the lifesaving skiff, safety nets and lifelines, and how to inspect and care for equipment. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA, is NOT an OSHA Outreach (10-hour or 30-hour) course and issues no DOL or OSHA card, and your employer remains responsible for the site-specific and hands-on training the standards require.
