Heavy Tipper Truck Safety

A free familiarisation course for drivers of heavy tipper trucks and the people who work around them on construction sites, quarries and road works. Learn the parts of a 6x4 rigid tipper in 3D, the daily walk-around check, blind spots and mirrors, air and spring brakes, reversing with a signaller, loading without overloading, tipping on firm level ground, overturns, overhead power lines and the body prop. It does not replace the practical training, assessment and authorisation that your employer and local law require before you operate a tipper.
