OSHA General Industry Safety Awareness (29 CFR 1910)
Awareness training aligned with the US OSHA general industry standards in 29 CFR 1910, for workers, team leaders and new supervisors in manufacturing, warehousing, utilities and maintenance, and for staff of US-owned operations abroad. It covers the OSH Act, worker rights and inspections, fall protection, exits and fire, PPE, machine guarding, lockout/tagout, permit-required confined spaces, electrical safety, forklifts and more, at roughly the scope of a ten-hour awareness program. It is NOT an OSHA Outreach (10-hour or 30-hour) course and issues no DOL or OSHA card, and your employer remains responsible for the site-specific and hands-on training the standards require.
