OSHA Stairways and Ladders Safety
Awareness training on ladder and stairway safety aligned with the US OSHA rules in 29 CFR 1910 Subpart D and 29 CFR 1926 Subpart X, for workers and supervisors in general industry and construction. It covers choosing, inspecting, setting up and climbing portable ladders, fixed ladders and their fall protection, every type of stair, handrails and stair rails, temporary stairs on construction sites, and the training the rules require. It is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA or NIOSH, it is NOT an OSHA Outreach (10-hour or 30-hour) course and issues no DOL or OSHA card, and your employer remains responsible for the site-specific and hands-on training the standards require.
