Telehandler Safety and Operation
A beginner familiarisation course for anyone who will operate, supervise or work around a telehandler (telescopic handler) on a construction site, farm or industrial site. Learn the machine's parts in 3D, how capacity falls with reach, how to read the load chart and the load moment indicator, how to set up on stabilisers and level ground, the pre-use check, travelling with the load low, attachments and the quick-hitch locking pin, suspended loads, overhead lines and emergencies. It does not replace the practical training, assessment and authorisation that the employer and local law require before anyone operates the machine.
