Water Tanker Safety and Operation

A free familiarisation course for drivers of water tankers (water trucks) used for dust suppression and water supply on construction sites, quarries, mines and well sites. Learn the tank and its fittings in 3D, liquid surge and rollover, the walk-around check, filling at a standpipe or a pond, pump and PTO safety, watering haul roads without making them slippery, work at height on the walkway, and why the tank is a confined space you never enter. It does not replace the practical training, assessment and authorisation that your employer and local law require before you operate a water tanker.
