Broad experience reads as unfocused if it is listed and as strong if it is organised. A CV that lists eleven years across maintenance, HSE and project support, in date order, makes a reader work out the story themselves. Most will not. What tends to help is leading with the role being applied for, grouping the experience that supports it, and giving each role an outcome rather than a duty list — what changed because you were there. For people who hire in this region: what makes you read past the first page?
