Cherry Picker (Boom MEWP) Safety
A free familiarisation course on cherry pickers, the boom-type mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) used to put people and their tools at height, with the machine in 3D. Learn the groups and types, the parts, ground conditions and outriggers, rated load, harness and restraint lanyard, power lines and entrapment, pre-use checks, and the rescue plan with emergency lowering from the ground. It does not replace the practical training, assessment and authorisation your employer and local law require before anyone operates a MEWP.
