OSHA HAZWOPER 8-Hour Annual Refresher
An eight-hour annual refresher aligned with the OSHA HAZWOPER standard (29 CFR 1910.120 and 1926.65), for site workers and supervisors who have already completed their initial 40-hour or 24-hour training. It reviews the scope of the standard, a critique of typical incidents, site plans and characterization, toxicology and exposure limits, air monitoring, PPE levels A to D, respirators, decontamination, drums, confined spaces, medical surveillance, spills and emergency response, ending with scenario reviews. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA or NIOSH, is NOT an OSHA Outreach (10-hour or 30-hour) course and issues no DOL or OSHA card, only a certificate of completion; your employer decides whether it meets its refresher duty and remains responsible for site-specific and hands-on training.
