Lessons, quizzes and progress
How the course player works: moving through lessons, module quizzes and retakes, how your progress is saved, and how to start a course again.
The course player
- The course contents are listed at the side. Use Hide course contents to get more space, and Exit to leave.
- Lessons open in order. A locked lesson shows Complete the previous lesson first, and a locked module shows Finish this module first.
- Lessons can contain text, pictures, video and interactive activities such as matching, ordering and flashcards.
Complete a lesson
Work through the lesson. When it has activities, finish them first — the player then shows All activities done — mark the lesson complete to continue. Press Mark as complete to move on.
Module quizzes
Most modules end with a quiz. The quiz page shows the number of questions and the pass mark, and sometimes a time limit. Press Start Quiz, answer the questions and press Submit Quiz.
- If you pass, the quiz is marked as passed and you can continue.
- If you do not pass, you can see which answers were wrong, but not the right answers. Go back over the lessons, then try again.
- You can retake a quiz after a short wait. The page tells you how long.
- Some quizzes can be taken only once. The quiz page says so before you start.
- After you pass, you may retake a quiz to improve your recorded score. Your best score is kept.
Your progress is saved
Your progress is saved to your account as you go, so you can continue on another device. If you see We could not save your progress, check your connection and try again.
Start a course again
On Your training on your profile, press Start again next to the course. This clears your lessons and quiz scores, and you start from the beginning.
