Verify a certificate
Anyone can check that an iCompetent certificate is genuine, without an account. There are two ways: the secure link printed on the certificate, or the certificate number.
With the secure link
Every certificate carries a secure verification link. Open it to see that the certificate is genuine, with the holder's name, the course and the completion date.
This is the best way to prove a certificate, because it is the only check that shows whose certificate it is. If you are the holder, send this link to the person who asks.
With the certificate number
Go to icompetent.com/verify/ followed by the certificate number — for example icompetent.com/verify/CERT-2026-000123. The page says This certificate is genuine and shows the course and the completion date.
If a certificate is not found
- Check the number against the printed certificate, character by character.
- A certificate that was withdrawn — for example because the holder started the course again — no longer verifies.
- If you check many certificates in a short time, you may be asked to wait and try again later.
- If it still does not match, contact us and we will confirm it for you.
